Simple highlight color great for customizing
November 25, 2011
There are all sorts of ways to customize a message. You can use digital, variable printing and add a person’s name or particular content related to their buying habits. Things like that. But don’t overlook one of the most effective ways to make a message LOOK personalized, and that’s by using high-light color. High-light color, which can look like you took a marker and highlighted a portion of the message, is incredibly effective in drawing attention to a specific part of your messages and making the letter or direct mail piece look customized. We just purchased three highlight digital presses, which apply the highlight when printing the message.
These Xerox HLC 180s print out 180 pieces a MINUTE (each), with resolution of 600 x 600 dpi color and 600 x 2400 dpi black and white. You can use them on everything from everything from postcards and newsletters, to booklets, flyers, reports, letterhead, invoices, forms, statements and envelopes.
